  1. I don’t know how i got into this interesting blog … what a great coincidence :)

Well .. you know It is all about “Soft Skills” … it’s about personality nature!
I don’t believe in training people whose personality nature tends to be “Weak” to be “Managers” all of the sudden!

Why do some managers demotivate their employees ?
They simply don’t know they are demotivating them ?? that’s what makes matter worse !

That’s the autocratic personality … that has no idea what “Autocracy” means ?

That’s the personality … that believes that no place for autonomy ! as that kinda contradicts with “Managers personality” that is supposed to be Harsh …. and guess what !!
“Harsh” means in the dictionary of those kind of people “Best Manager” : D

Why do some managers demotivate their employees?
I couldn’t find an answer but “Culture” in some of them … and “being Critical” as something inherent throughout experience ! for some others !

  2. Thank you for listing all the “attributes”. I am working on a piece on how to motivate and this really helped!

  4. Managers demotivate their employees for several reasons, including; that is how they were taught to lead, they believe showing their employees a disconnected attitude will make their employees more likely to “obey” them, or they genuinely do not care about the welfare of their employees. These managers may be successful, but will be for only a short period of time. The simple things you point out, go to the root of leadership and interacting within society, and that is to show people that they are valued, whether it be at work or as a person.

  5. I think some managers demotivate employee just to get them to resign
I’ve seen that in my work place they make the employee work hard, make them came early, send them home late, deny there suggestions and restrict there learning
